Mindful minutes, automatically
When you connect Apple Health, each completed Spiritual Me session can save as mindful minutes — the same category Apple uses for meditation and breathing time.
APPLE HEALTH
Spiritual Me® can save your practice to Apple Health so mindful time stays in one place alongside the rest of your wellness data — without turning the app into a dashboard of metrics.
Connection is optional. You choose what to share, and Spiritual Me does not read your health records. On Android, the same control is available through Health Connect.
When you connect Apple Health, each completed Spiritual Me session can save as mindful minutes — the same category Apple uses for meditation and breathing time.
If you authorize it separately, Spiritual Me can save the feeling you selected at the start of a session as State of Mind in Apple Health. Your on-screen word is what you tapped; only the HealthKit label mapping happens behind the scenes.
Connection is optional and managed in Settings → Apple Health. Turn mindful minutes or State of Mind on or off anytime. Spiritual Me never reads your existing health data.
Saving mindful minutes is not gated behind a subscription. If Apple Health is connected, your sessions count whether you are on a free or premium plan.
STATE OF MIND API
State of Mind is Apple’s HealthKit framework for logging how you feel. It is available on iPhone with iOS 18 and later, and it powers the mood and emotion reflections you see in the Apple Health app.
Because Spiritual Me already begins each session by asking how you feel, that single tap maps cleanly to a State of Mind entry. When you complete a session, Spiritual Me can write one momentary-emotion sample that records the feeling you chose — never an all-day mood, and never more than one entry per session.
Each feeling carries a valence (how pleasant or unpleasant it is) derived from its mood zone, plus a matching Apple emotion label. Your on-screen word stays exactly what you tapped; the HealthKit label match simply lets Apple Health understand it.
State of Mind is fully opt-in. It is off by default, asks for its own separate permission, and can be turned off anytime in Settings → Apple Health. Spiritual Me only writes this data — it never reads your existing State of Mind history.
If you previously denied access, open Settings → Apple Health in Spiritual Me and follow the prompt to open the Health app permissions.
